Over the past 18 months, the Lokkelebery team along with the help of the Brand Foundry have spent many a day staring at bottles and labels.

For us, it was vital that the bottle spoke to the Lokkelebery story and what we are trying to create through our wine. Farming, family and heritage have always been key pillars to the project, with a constant eye for detail. All of these factors have been taken into account when choosing our bespoke sparkling bottle, made for us in France by Saverglass.

Having trialed many shapes and styles of bottles, we eventually discovered VINTAGE by Saverglass. Saverglass have long been industry leaders and have a penchant for developing beautiful and creative bottles with a nod to the past. We felt that VINTAGE offered the perfect balance between past and present. Its long neck and weighty presence hint at the demijohns and bottles of old, while its sleek shoulders suggest a classical yet modern look. The name VINTAGE also perfectly surmised our goal; to create unique vintages which reflect their years of growth, mirroring the heritage of our terroir.

Our next challenge will be completing the rest of the look for our bottles, namely the labels and finishes such as cork and cage. After that, we will continue our ongoing work with our still wine range, so our task of staring at bottles is not quite at an end..
